Representative students from different political groups have assured administration of the University of Sindh that they will work with the varsity to promote peaceful educational environment at the campus, and will avoid in future any protest which disturbed the educational activities at the varsity.

In this connection, a meeting was convened by the University Registrar Muhammad Hussain Shaikh, which was attended by Provost Boys Hostel Dr Ghulam Sarwar Gachal, In-charge Director Students Affairs Syed Anwar Ali Shah and representatives of the student wings. On this occasion, the representatives pointed out that many times, some outsiders created a law and order situation and this disturbed the on-going classes.

They assured and promised the administration that being a part of the varsity, they would play part to promote peace at the campus. The registrar of the varsity informed the students that the varsity's priority is to look after the students for their better education and provide facilities, required at the hostels and departments.

He said protests always create disturbances at the campus. The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Professor Dr Nazir A. Mughal has clearly instructed to the University administration to pay attention and solve the problems of the students immediately, he added. He expressed hope that the students would play positive role for promotion of peace and educational environment.
